How to make mead at home

1. You will need honey, you can use old, candied, dry yeast.
2. Hops, you can pharmacy, but I did not find this, I used wild.

4. I must say that part of the process was not filmed, so I'll just tell you. Water is boiled, honey is added to it, stirring with a ladle, we achieve complete dissolution of honey, remove the foam, it takes 3-4 minutes for everything, then add hops, 10 grams if pharmacy, in my case - 15 cones.
5. As soon as our potion has cooled to a temperature of about 40 degrees, add yeast - about a third of a teaspoon. Mix well, cover with a lid - and in a warm place, forget about the drink for 5-7 days
6. And now a week has passed, let's see what happened. Doesn't look like much, to be honest.
7. For bottling and filtering, I use these filters. Auto painters know what it is.
8. Pour the potion into about two-thirds of the bottle.
9. After that, the bottle must be squeezed to release the air.
10. Output volume.
11. And to the basement. The next day, the bottles were swollen, I slowly let the air out, then twisted it again.

13. After five days of aging in the basement - we get a foamy drink, with a strength of about 8-9 degrees, very light, pleasant to taste with one big minus - it ends quickly, says the author of the recipe
