Kidosaki Architects Studio architects designed a private house in Nagano, Japan. Located on a picturesque mountainside, it gives residents the best panoramic views of the surrounding area. The house is presented in the form of two parts — a concrete base and an overhanging residential block supported by steel columns.
In the front part, an open-plan living area is designed, combined with a dining room and a kitchen. It offers the best view of the nature surrounding the house. The remaining rooms of the residence are oriented towards the mountains. Often, looking out of the window, the residents of the house see only clouds, and it seems as if the house is floating with them.
