"Holy Ears", or How two former rivals started making marmalade with cannabis
They say that whoever remembers the old — that's out of sight. Well, or an ear. That's how two world boxing stars Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield judged, starting a joint business. Two former rivals in the ring decided to produce marmalade in the form of ears containing marijuana. Why exactly in the form of ears and why would cannabis suddenly be included in the composition? It's simple — those who are older and caught a boxing fight in 1997 remember that Mike bit off a piece of Evander's ear. Well, it's even easier with marijuana.
56-year-old Mike Tyson is associated with the younger generation no longer with victories in the ring, but with his merry farm. The former champion grows marijuana on his vast lands in California and his business is quite thriving. So why not spice up branded marmalade with our own products, which are now recognized as therapeutic in the USA?
Marmalade candies with the unexpected name "Holy Ears" contain tetrahydrocannabinol. This is a marijuana-based substance that has a special effect on humans. The first batch of products from Tyson and Holyfield will go on sale at the end of November 2022.
Of course, given the unusual composition, marmalade will not be sold in pastry shops. Sweets will be offered to visitors of specialty stores in the states of Arizona, Illinois, Nevada and New Jersey. These are retail outlets that sell marijuana and the products in which it is contained.
By the way, this is not the first time Mike exploits the topic of a bitten ear. At the beginning of 2022, he presented chewable sweets "Mike Bites" (Mike Bites). It is known that the sweets in the form of a bitten ear were a success and this inspired the boxer.
Mike Tyson is not the only star producing products with "weed". Movie actress Gwyneth Paltrow started producing an energy drink with cannabis a couple of years ago.
