Having defeated cancer, the girls repeated the photo shoot taken at the beginning of the journey
It's a very beautiful story. In 2014, photographer Laura Scantling made a photo shoot of three girls suffering from cancer. Three years later, they met again in Laura's studio. Beautiful and healthy as ever.
Source: Huffington Post Laura's father was losing the battle with lung cancer, and then she decided to make shots that would be more expressive than words.
A woman ventured into a photo project about sick children. "It wasn't difficult to find small models. I posted a post on Facebook, and soon the portrait was ready."
3-year-old Riley, 6-year-old Reanne and 4-year-old Ainsley did not know each other, but after the shooting they became girlfriends. Their parents also became friends and for three years, with bated breath, watched their girls gradually recover.
In the new photos, Riley and Reanne are already perfectly healthy, and Ainsley is on the road to healing. She is in remission.
The golden ribbon held by the girls is a symbol of the fight against pediatric oncology.
"Cancer is like a dragon," says Reann. "Yeah, and chemistry is the prince," Ainslie adds. The disease is associated with the wrong princesses…
