The hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans were broken when these artists announced their retirement from music. But! More recently, celebrities have announced their return to the stage, to the delight of fans. We have collected the most incredible comebacks of stars who intend to make themselves known again.
The American hip-hop project The Black Eyed Peas, which appeared back in 1995, became one of the most popular bands of its time. In 2003, after the release of the track Where Is The Love? the guys have gained huge popularity. Without their songs My Humps, Pump It or RITMO, not a single party in the two thousandth could do.
The group, which consisted of Will.i.am , Apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie, was at the peak of popularity until 2010. However, in 2011, the participants announced the breakup of the collective, noting that this was just a pause in creativity, but no more.
The break dragged on for almost ten years, but to the incredible happiness of the fans, the stars returned to the ranks. However, in a slightly different line-up: Fergie refused to perform, and she was replaced by another performer — J Rey Soul.
The first album after the reunion was Masters of the Sun Vol. 1, which already sounds familiar to us recitative. And on June 4, 2019, the band members released a new single Be Nice with the participation of Snoop Dogg and began active concert activities.
Now the band is on tour: ahead of 7 countries and 16 concerts. Every devoted fan who wants to be nostalgic and dance enough has the opportunity to make his dream come true.
At the end of 2019, the star of the 90s Natalia Vetlitskaya announced her return to the stage. In 1988, the singer performed as part of the Mirage group. The team visited many cities and enjoyed incredible popularity. Nevertheless, Vetlitskaya wanted to focus on her solo career. Already in 1992, she began releasing records, including the famous "Look into your Eyes", "Playboy" and "Slave of Love".
Natalia recently returned to Russia in order to resume his career. This autumn Vetlitskaya will give big solo concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg. PMI Corporation, which signed a contract with the singer, said that "it will be a different sound, but it will be the same Natalia Vetlitskaya". The news about the singer's new concert program "20 X 2020" excited her fans and caused an incredible stir in the media.
One of the most popular Russian rock bands has also announced two concerts scheduled for autumn 2020. The Kino Group was founded by Viktor Tsoi in 1982. The real fame came to the musicians when in 1987 their song "I want a change!" was played in the film "Assa". A year later, Viktor Tsoi starred in the film "Needle" and performed several songs from the repertoire of the collective in it. After that, a real "movie mania" began in the country.
But in 1990, a tragic car accident occurred, as a result of which Viktor Tsoi died. It was a real shock to the public. After the tragedy, an album was released in memory of the singer, called "Black". In the same year, the Kino group ceased to exist.
The upcoming concerts are timed to the 30th anniversary of the famous album "A Star named the Sun". The producer of the performances is the son of the legendary performer Alexander Tsoi. The band's guitarist Yuri Kasparyan and bass guitarists Igor Tikhomirov and Alexander Titov will appear on stage. The performances will feature the voice of Viktor Tsoi digitized from the original recordings. The official teaser of the performance also says that there will be two-hour concerts with a unique video sequence, so fans will be truly immersed in the era of the Kino group.
10 years ago, the Pussycat Dolls announced a creative break for an indefinite period. The silence was broken only at the end of 2019, when the soloist of the collective Nicole Scherzinger announced a grand reunion. The girls band also includes Karmit Bachar, Jessica Satta, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts.
Success came to the pop group in 2005 after the release of the first album PCD. The singles Don't Cha and Stickwitu occupied the first places in the top charts around the world.
On November 30, 2019, the "dolls" performed in the final of the X Factor show: they performed a medley of their hits and amazed the audience with incendiary dances. Most recently, the girls announced the Unfinished Business tour, which will begin in April this year.
The Spice Girls reunion was also a real event. By the way, the first line-up of the group was literally recruited by an ad. The producers wrote in the weekly newspaper The Stage that they are looking for talented girls to create a musical group.
That's how Victoria Adams, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Jerry Halliwell and Emma Bunton met, who later became members of the Spice Girls. In 1996, their first single Wannabe was released, which immediately became a hit (the song was played on the radio more than 500 times a week!). And Spice's debut album turned out to be the best-selling record by a female pop group in the history of music. The band became popular not only due to memorable tracks, but also due to the individuality of each performer. Even in a reduced line-up (without Victoria Beckham, who refused to participate in the project), tickets for new concerts of "peppercorns" were actively sold out.
20 years after the completion of musical activity, the pop group Aqua returns to the stage again. Scandinavian musicians announced this news at the end of last year.
The band was founded in 1989 and has long been one of the most popular in Denmark. In the 90s, their hits Doctor Jones, Turn Back Time and Barbie girl were played all over the world. At the moment, the musicians are working on the album.
Aqua will go on tour in full this summer. Now seven big concerts have been announced in the UK and Canada.
