Female beauty in unusual paintings by Pascal Chauvet
The paintings of the French artist Pascal Chove cannot be confused with the works of other painters. They are unique and recognizable even by those who are superficially familiar with his work. These are always beautiful naked female bodies, carefully crafted folds of fabric and... an unsightly, shabby wall as a background. (Warning! Nudity).
Pascal Chauvet was born in 1960 in France. He received his professional education at the Dupperré School of Applied Arts in Paris. The beginning of the artist's career was marked by a painful search for himself. Chove masterfully wielded a brush, but dreamed of his own, unique style.
And the painter found him. Pascal Chauvet did not look for easy ways. He began to paint his paintings on wooden panels using paints made according to his own recipe. It was this technique, invented by the master, that made his work especially interesting.
Most of Pascal Chauvet's paintings are dedicated to the beauty of the female body. But just as diligently, like the seductive curves of bodies, the artist paints clothes and draperies. Sometimes it seems that the nightgown or sheet is as important as the main figure. We can confidently say that Chove has mastered all the secrets of depicting fabrics.
