Extraordinary paintings on rice fields

For several years now, the Japanese village of Inakadate has not only grown rice, but also done it beautifully. Using different varieties of rice, differing in the color of the leaves, they create real pictures in the fields there! So that everyone could better contemplate this unusual land art, high viewing platforms were erected nearby.
