Jean-Philippe Peter was born in Dakar (the capital of Senegal), but moved to France at the age of 16 to study photography. He has worked with such publications as Vanity Fair, Numero and Vogue UK. Jean-Philippe studied with recognized masters of his craft: he was an assistant to Michel Comte, Jacques Durand and Jan Arthus-Bertrand.
