Don't be shy: the bride breastfed the baby right during the wedding
A touching photo of a bride breastfeeding her 6-month-old daughter during a wedding ceremony in a church is rapidly gaining popularity on the Internet. The mother of two children Christina Torino-Benton got married on June 18, 2016 in the Canadian city of Montreal. "It was about 40 degrees in the church, Gemma was so hot, she couldn't sleep, and she was constantly whimpering," Kristina said.

"I am not a supporter of pumping and bottle feeding, I am for safe natural parenthood. Besides, Gemma would never stop crying, and I couldn't concentrate on the ceremony. I could only think about feeding my baby, because I knew that this was the only right decision. As soon as I picked her up, I had the opportunity to calm down and focus. A lot of people think that it brought me extra trouble, but in fact it was great that the baby was with us. She always brings me so much joy," said Kristina.
She posted a photo in the community of supporters of breastfeeding on Facebook and said that she did it because she considered her act really right and knew that it would be appreciated. The photo has already gained more than 7000 likes. "I never expected it to become so popular. I thought I would get a few likes from my like-minded women and that's it. But I also think that sharing photos like this is important. These things happen. I am not the first and not the last of those who do this, and I hope that people will be more understanding about things like breastfeeding," the heroine said.
"Many people have asked me why I didn't just pump some milk and ask someone to feed Gemma from a bottle, but the fact is that I'm actually very skeptical about pumping, and I never practice it. Some people were just rude and expressed their rather strange point of view on this situation. Actually, I'm a little surprised. Before I posted this photo, I had never heard so many condemning comments and never felt so much negativity towards such a natural process as breastfeeding."
Ms. Torino-Benton also said that she is happy to feel the support provided to her by supporters of breastfeeding, and believes that she is very lucky that there are such kind people in the online community.
