Daughters-mothers: little girls did their moms makeup
For the most part, women are scrupulous about their appearance and before going outside and showing themselves to the world, they spend a lot of time at the mirror, applying several layers of various cosmetics to their face. Elly Heise has created an unusual photo project called "Daughter does my makeup" (Daughter does my makeup).
Canadian artist and photographer Ellie Hayes decided to conduct an experiment — to give little girls aged 3 to 5 years cosmetics and let them "decorate" their own mothers. It turned out not only funny, but also very informative.
However, the most interesting thing, according to the photographer, is that the children were generally satisfied with their work. And moreover, as a rule, they liked most of all those "fragments" that any adult, and especially a professional in the field of makeup, considered would be the most terrible.
According to the artist, this made her seriously think about how children perceive "beauty" and how this perception differs from the perception of an adult.
The most remarkable thing about this photo project is that despite the ridiculous appearance, the women looked absolutely happy.
