Photographer Yvette Ivens wants breastfeeding in public to become the norm. The Lithuanian-born Chicago resident filmed mothers breastfeeding their babies in public to remind people that it's a "completely natural thing." 25-year-old Yvette has two children, she fed her eldest until the age of three.
“I breastfed them when and where they wanted. At church and at parties, at farmers' markets and in trendy designer stores,” says Ivens. The photographer also advocates long feedings: “Children know when to finish. Their parents know too. The rest don't, and they shouldn't care." What do you say?
