Chinese millionaire goes broke because of dogs
At 29 years old, Wang Yan earned more than anyone else in his entire life. He owned a successful steel plant in the Chinese city of Changchun. However, now he does not have a penny - he spent all his fortune on rescuing dogs that were supposed to die under the butcher's knife!
Yan first started saving dogs in 2012. He was looking for his lost dog and was advised to go to a butcher's shop. Yan did not find his dog, but he saw how cruelly other dogs were killed there. He vowed to buy back as many dogs as he had room in his house.
Wang Yan sold the equipment in his factory and renamed his remaining building "Changchun Animal Rescue Base". To date, he has already rescued thousands of dogs - many of them were adopted by ordinary families. His fortune was depleted, and now the former millionaire got into debt, but he does not regret anything!
