Children's fashion: girls and their dolls
Among girls living in various countries of the world, it has become popular to receive as a gift a doll that looks not like Barbie and other “perfect” characters, but like an ordinary person. Dolls can look like average girls - with different hair, skin color and torso proportions.
Photographer Ilona Szwarc created a series of photographs depicting young American women with their dolls.

1. Often the appearance and clothes of these dolls are specially selected in such a way as to achieve resemblance to the young owner, and they become their little copies, their twins.
