Children of nature: spouses from Australia reject traditional education and do not teach children to read
Spouses from Australia admit that their children cannot read and write because of the family's free views on education. Liaden and Richard call themselves "natural parents" and live in a tent city. They avoid traditional forms of education, giving their kids the opportunity to explore the world in unity with nature.
A family from Australia, who is raising five children, has abandoned traditional education. They chose a natural approach to learning. Parents do not follow any of the general education school programs.
Liaden and Richard admit that only two out of five guys can read. Three younger children — 5, 7 and 9 years old - according to their mother and father, have not yet grown up to reading.
Many criticize this principle of education. Some even accuse parents of child abuse, because adults do not give them the opportunity to get a normal education.
Nevertheless, psychologists consider this approach to be quite normal. They advise not to rush to start training. In some countries, children are not forced to read until they are ready for it. In Scandinavia, for example, kids begin to learn to read and write at the age of 6-7, or even later.
And how do you feel about such a natural approach to the education of children?
Meanwhile, the mother said that she allows her daughter to wallow in puddles for self-expression. Her candid Facebook post received many positive responses.
