Camera eaten by alligator returned to owner after 8 months
Wildlife photographer Mario Aldecoa was at Everglades Farm in January of this year photographing alligators. At some point, one of the predators was too close and attacked the young man. Fortunately, Mario was not injured, but the camera was first on the ground, and then in the stomach of an aggressive amphibian. This story could have ended, but...

1. ...after 8 months, one of the visitors noticed that something was dragging on the ground behind the alligator, catching on the leg.
2. With the help of the farm staff, the animal was freed from the “accessory”, which turned out to be the same swallowed camera.
3. Of course, the $1300 device could no longer be restored, but one, the last, photo from the memory card was restored.
