The 25-year-old Polish woman was completely blind in one eye and partially lost sight in the second in the other after an unsuccessful tattoo on her eyeballs. Alexandra Sadowska from the city of Wroclaw, Poland, turned to a tattoo artist with a request to paint the whites of her eyes black in order to look like a rap artist named Popek, whose eyes are also painted black. The result of the procedure was deplorable.

Soon after the procedure, the girl began to experience severe pain and complained about it to her tattoo artist, receiving an answer that this was normal and she needed to take painkillers until complete healing. However, this did not help and the girl began to rapidly lose her eyesight.

After Alexandra filed a complaint against him, an investigation revealed that a tattoo artist from Warsaw, known as Peter A, used ink for tattooing on the skin during the procedure.

As a result, the artist working in Warsaw, who is called Piotr A. in the local media, faces three years in prison for unintentionally causing serious injuries to a young person.

The Polish woman completely lost sight in her right eye, while the doctors told Alexandra that this damage was irreparable and soon she would most likely not be able to see in her left eye either. During the subsequent investigation, it was found that the tattoo artist made serious mistakes in the process, including the use of ink for tattooing on the skin, the ingress of which into the eyes is undesirable.

The tattoo artist, who still runs his salon, where he mainly does ear piercings, was recently charged — four years after this ordeal began for Alexandra. The man does not admit his guilt. It is reported that the trial should begin in the near future.
