Billy Standley died of lung cancer at the age of 82. He said that the bike was the only thing that kept him adventurous after he devoted his life to his family after becoming the father of four children.

The family of a biker from the US state of Ohio granted the wish of their deceased relative and buried him riding on his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Explaining his unusual desire, Standley said that the bike was the only thing that kept his passion for adventure alive after he devoted his life to his family, becoming the father of four children.

6. Standley himself began preparing an unusual funeral ceremony during his lifetime. He bought three additional places in the cemetery next to his wife's grave.

8. The biker's sons, under his leadership, built a transparent plexiglass coffin, the bottom of which was reinforced with wood and steel bars to withstand the enormous weight. As Standley said, telling his friends about his plan, he wanted not only to enter heaven on a bike, but to do it so that the whole world could see it.

10. On Friday, January 31, he was buried in accordance with his will - riding his beloved 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide cruiser. Strandley sat on a motorcycle wearing a black leather suit, white helmet, goggles and gloves.

According to the agency, five embalmers worked on preparing the body of the deceased. They fixed it in the seat with a special plate and straps.
