"Beyond the Selfie" - a project by Wolfram Hahn
Wolfram Hahn, a German photographer, has a unique and original vision of the world. He has already created more than a dozen projects, of which the Selfie project looks very interesting.
The digital camera has become as indispensable a nuance of modern life as air. Take away a person's cell phone and he will start to choke like a fish. Selfies have become a kind of means of communication, a dumb language. But the language with a secret overtones. Here I open it. What is actually going on in the soul and in the human world, what is hidden behind the screen? Because it is relevant, interesting and mysterious. It's like looking through a keyhole. Sometimes a selfie looks beautiful and attractive, but the overall picture says something completely different. It would be useful to see what is really going on.
The screen both complements our life and distorts it. This is great - where would we be without mobilization. And terrible. Sometimes it seems that people have become some kind of zombies.
