Attempt number two: A Hindu killed his wife with a poisonous snake
Domestic murders in families occur all over the world. Usually, the first objects that come to hand become the instruments of crime — knives, axes, sticks, guns. But there are domestic murderers with imagination. A 27-year-old resident of the Indian city of Anchala, Kerala, killed his 25-year-old wife with a cobra. The plan turned out only on the second attempt — the doctors were able to save the woman for the first time.
A man named Suraj (Sooraj) in March 2021 threw a chain viper into the room of his wife Utra (Uthra). The snake bit the woman, after which she had to spend two months in the hospital. After discharge, the girl settled in her parents' house, as she was very weak and needed care.
Surai did not stop there and bought a large royal cobra from a snake dealer. He has already learned that this snake is considered one of the most dangerous on the planet. He threw the reptile into his sleeping wife's bed at night. On May 7, Utra's mother found her daughter unconscious in the bedroom. There was a poisonous snake in the room with her. The woman immediately called an ambulance, but the doctors could only state death.
The police immediately suspected Suraya, who was doing his best to feign shock and mental anguish. Police Officer Ashok Kumar (Ashok Kumar) he told reporters that he found the killer next to Utra's mother at her body. The husband wrung his hands and sobbed, but his acting skills left much to be desired. Investigators have established that at the time of the snake's attack on the woman, Surai was next to her. Well, the fact that in two months it was the second attack of a poisonous snake on the unfortunate, confirmed the guesses.
After the funeral of his wife, Suray began to insist on the immediate division of property. There was something to share, since Utra's family is very wealthy. Meanwhile, the police checked the contacts of the inconsolable spouse. It turned out that just a day before the tragedy, the man was communicating with a snake dealer. Checking the suspect's computer showed that he was interested in deadly snakes on the web and the principle of their venom.
That was enough to arrest the bastard. He cracked at the first interrogation and told how and why he killed his wife. As expected, Suraya was interested in the property of the Morning. The woman owned 100 antique gold coins, 20 thousand dollars (1.4 million rubles) in cash and an expensive car. All these benefits were the bride's dowry and the husband was afraid of losing them in a divorce. The killer was not stopped even by the fact that he and Utra had a one-year-old child.
Suraj is now awaiting trial, which may well sentence him to death. Together with the murderer, the snake seller who provided the "murder weapon" will be in the dock.
