"An oak tree was cut down near Lukomorye": dark fantasy art
Usually we present Pushkin's eternal classic "Ruslan and Lyudmila" in a very positive form — beautiful fairy-tale illustrations, joyful characters. But Yekaterinburg artist Andrey Mironov has his own idea about this work. His choice is dark fantasy. And you know what? It seems that Andrey's illustrations are closer to real reality than one would imagine. What other atmosphere could reign in the dark Middle Ages?
