Amazing hanging restaurant in China
Extraordinary restaurant Fanwen is next to the "Cave of the three travelers" in China's Hubei province, approximately 12 km North of Yichang city. The restaurant is located in Happy valley gorge Silin — some very picturesque cliffs, caves and parks in the area where the river Chang Jiang flows into the Yangtze. The entrance to the school is a nondescript brick building, but at the far end of a narrow concrete bridge restaurant practically hanging a few hundred meters above the ground.
From this bridge, the restaurant visitors can admire the waters of the Yangtze river. And for fans of adrenaline there is a platform for bungee jumping.
Upon entering the restaurant and going down the stairs, you will find yourself in a natural "cave lobby".
On the right is the boardwalk 30 meters long, built along a cliff edge.
It leads to a cave, which turned into the dining room. This cave fills with a pale yellow light.
The Chinese-style furniture goes well with the surrounding landscape. Part of this room, partially bulges out of the cave, where there are tables.
This is a restaurant suspended in the air, from which you can admire the waters of the river below. The restaurant is named after the great poet from the sung dynasty.
They say he brewed tea in the cave.
