Amazing geometry of runways
Designer Lauren O'Neill has always loved planes and airports. So one day she wondered: what do they look like from above? With the help of Google Maps, Lauren created a photo project showing the amazing geometry of the runways.
Kastrup, Copenhagen Airport, built in 1925. Kastrup is the largest airport in Scandinavia.

Wellington International Airport, New Zealand. The airport was built in 1929. In April 2009, the airport published a new master plan for reconstruction, designed for the next 20 years and including work on expanding the passenger terminal building, increasing the apron area and the length of the airport runway.
