Kasper Kowalski is a well-known Polish photographer, although he is an architect by education. He came to photography through his other hobby-paragliding.

He is a first-class pilot and instructor, and it is the calmness and confidence during the flight that help him take high-quality photos in such an unusual perspective.

Kasper Kowalski was born in 1977, graduated from the Gdansk Technical University with a degree in architecture.

In the future, the profession received began to play an important role in the works of Casper. "I am an architect, so I look at the world through the prism of my education, presenting everything in the form of maps and drawings," says Kowalski.

Kasper Kowalski received special recognition for his series of aerial photographs of the Polish winter. Winter photos taken from a bird's-eye view are very rare, since paragliding is a difficult, dangerous and expensive pleasure in winter.

Pomerania, a historical region of Poland in the south of the Baltic Sea, is famous for its majestic forests, lakes and rivers. It is this area that the author decided to capture in his works.

Pomeranian forests are of a mixed type, which is why the trees shed their leaves at different times in autumn. And therefore, it is in autumn that these forests are a real find for an aerial photographer.
