A wedding photo shoot that has been waiting for 70 years
Ferris and Margaret had been in love with each other since high school and got married in 1946. Unfortunately, when they were married, no one had a camera, and this bright moment remained unsealed. 70 years later, their granddaughter decided to arrange a wedding photo shoot for them. Perhaps this is the most long-awaited wedding photo shoot in the world.
Lovers since high school, Ferris and Margaret married in 1946.
The only catch was that none of my friends and acquaintances had a camera to capture this moment.
Therefore, on their 70th wedding anniversary, their granddaughter Amanda Cleckley arranged a photo shoot, recreating wedding photos that were never taken.
Margaret, who is 89 years old, wore a lavender suit and a veil.
90-year-old Ferris looked very stylish in a tailcoat.
This beautiful couple was photographed by photographer Lara Carter.
"Their mutual love is visible in the way they communicated with each other and laughed when we tried different poses," says Lara.
"This is a perfect example of what a good marriage should look like."
