A unique Russian fashion project opens the way for orphans to the modeling business
A modeling agency for children from orphanages and foster families has started working in Russia. The project gives an opportunity to children who are not pampered by life to find themselves in the fashion world and, having mastered a prestigious profession, start earning. The Age Agency project is the first agency of such a plan and has no analogues in the world.
The idea to create a company that will help orphaned children to get on the podium came from Igor Shiva. From 2015 to 2018, he worked at Daisy Magazine as editor-in-chief and once participated in organizing a photo shoot for a magazine dedicated to teen fashion. It was while working on this project that Igor realized that he could help such children.
Now Igor Shiva is working together with Yulia Safiulina, one of the creators of the SoulDeep brand. The motto of the Age Agency is "We find hidden talents where others are not looking." This is absolutely true, since there are no analogues of what Igor and Yulia do in the world.
The creators of the agency are well aware that orphans, most often, have to rely only on themselves in this life. Working in the modeling business gives you the opportunity not only to gain financial independence, but also to realize yourself, meet interesting people and travel around the world.
The Age Agency wants to make it clear to foster parents how talented and beautiful their children are. Yulia Safiulina says about it like this:
The project is still very young and only three models are presented on its website: Sergey, Vyacheslav and Tatyana. The wards of Igor and Yulia already have their first successes — Vyacheslav took part in the fashion show of the brand Za_Za, appearing on the catwalk during Fashion Week in Moscow.
Not only fashion industry specialists work with the guys from the project, but also teachers of acting, modeling, as well as psychologists. This will allow children not only to grow professionally, but also to adapt better to adult life, understand the structure of this world and find a common language with others.
Igor Shiva believes that with the help of his agency, you can not only become a professional and get a prestigious job, but also find friends and, possibly, family.
Today, not only people with perfect looks are in demand in the modeling business, but also those who do not fit into the generally accepted standards of beauty.
