A new record of $ 646 million was set at Christie's auction, where part of the collection of the famous American billionaire David Rockefeller was presented. For the first time in history, lots belonging to one person were sold for such fabulous sums.

There were 44 lots in total, the most expensive of which was Pablo Picasso's painting "Girl with a basket of flowers": its value reached $ 115 million. Next comes Claude Monet with the painting "Water Lilies in bloom" — 84.7 million. In third place was Henri Matisse and his "Odalisque lying under magnolias" — the painting was sold for 80.8 million.
