A happy childhood without a computer and the Internet
Do you have photos from your childhood in which you - all smeared, but happy - are happily playing with friends, enjoying every minute of summer? Isabella Urbaniak catches just such moments - taking pictures of her sons and their cousins while they are playing and having fun in the village on summer holidays. This is a month without computers, Internet and PlayStation. Children play on the lake, run with dogs and just fool around.
Isabella Urbaniak herself lives in Poland, she has two sons. She has been creating this photo series called "Summer" since 2012. When Isabella was little, every summer she stayed in the village with her grandmother. "I am very glad that I can return to my childhood for a while," says the photographer. — I look at children, take part in games myself, or even invent new ones for them. It makes me happy."
Since 2012, Izabela Urbaniak, a Polish photographer and mother of two boys, has been photographing her children. This black and white series is called Summertime and presents beautiful images of idyllic summer days.
What could be better than jumping and tumbling in a haystack with fragrant hay, running a race for butterflies or searching for shells in the lake?
Isabella knows what her children need, because she herself can remember with pride and sweet nostalgia her childhood spent in the village, barefoot and cheerful, so now she is not averse to watching the games of her own children armed with a camera.
Thanks to such a mother, they will have something to remember and relive when viewing these beautiful black and white photos!
