A German blogger showed how he eats a dolphin and became an object of hatred. The prank had to be urgently exposed
A blogger with the nickname Inscopenico from Stuttgart, Germany, is a cheerful 24—year-old guy who loves sports and good jokes. Despite the fact that his Instagram account is in German, he has 1.6 million subscribers from different countries. But recently, Inscopenico made a joke so badly that it almost lost the lion's share of its audience. To save the situation, the guy had to urgently make a rebuttal.
The main content on the Inscopenico Instagram page is his photos taken during and after training in the gym, as well as his own photos, edited in Photoshop with great self—irony. But recently, a cheerful German decided to show his subscribers something new and pleased them with gastronomic plots.
On September 30, a video with a frozen dolphin cub appeared in the story of Inscopenico. Immediately after that, the guy posted a video in which he shows how to cook a dish from a marine inhabitant.
At the end of the topic, the blogger posted a video with the resulting dish, completely ready to eat.
The videos stayed in the Inscopenico account for only a day, but it was enough for them to be copied and posted on YouTube, combining all the stories into one small video.
Immediately after that, subscribers began to attack the guy with reproaches and threats, as well as massively unsubscribe from his account. Accusations of cruelty and idiocy were far from the sharpest remarks left on the blogger's page by his former fans.
The blogger, in order to preserve his reputation and not lose all subscribers, had to urgently post a refutation. Inscopenico admitted that he had never killed or eaten dolphins, and what everyone saw in his stories was just a prank.
To prove his words, the guy posted a photo with the same dolphin, which, as it turned out, was made of silicone on a 3D printer specifically for a joke. He also explained the essence of his cruel prank:
The blogger also said that he did not make the video himself, but with the guys from the Followfish organization, which protects marine life, including dolphins. But despite the confession and exhaustive evidence, a solid group of haters refuses to believe in the joke and continue to accuse Inscopenico of cruelty.
The second half of hostile users have accepted that they were bought on a well-staged prank, but at the same time they say that the joke is extremely unfortunate and inhumane. According to these people, such barbaric videos do not help protect marine life in any way.
On October 3, the blogger had to post another thematic post, but in his usual playful style. By doing this, he makes it clear that the problem has exhausted itself and suggests continuing to have fun and enjoy life.
