They say it's never too late to learn new things, and 86-year—old Ed Mosley is living proof of that. When the man found out that a local boarding house for the elderly was going to knit small hats for premature newborns, he realized that he definitely had to participate in this.

"I've never knitted in my life," Ed told The Inside Edition. But that didn't stop him. The man turned to his daughter for help, and she was happy to teach him. According to Ed, it was not easy and at first the progress was small.

It took more than three hours to knit the first hat, but after a little practice, grandfather began to make them in an hour and a half.

Ed has already knitted more than fifty hats and inspired other residents of the boarding house to help create another 300 hats. And that's not all! Ed Mosley plans to continue his work and knit 30 little hats every month.
