Marilyn Monroe was born as Norma Jeane Mortenson (later Norma Jean Baker) June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles. She survived a difficult childhood and became one of the most famous and memorable sex symbols in the world.
Marilyn never knew my father, and once thought that her father was Clark gable. This story is often repeated for the sake of attracting attention and money. However, there is no evidence that gable ever met in my life her mother Gladys, which further developed a mental disorder because of what it had to be placed in a psychiatric hospital. Even as an adult, Marilyn recalled how in early childhood the mother once tried to smother her with a pillow.

Norma Jean was a half-sister, which they dated not more than six times in my life and never closely did not communicate. The aspiring actress childhood spent a lot of time in foster care and in an orphanage. In 1937, the family friend grace and her husband Doc Goddard took the girl in custody for several years.

In 1946, when Dougherty returned home, his wife already had a successful modeling career and she changed her name to Marilyn Monroe, preparing to become an actress.
