1. Jack the Ripper.
Arguably the most notorious killer of all time, Jack the Ripper was responsible for the deaths of at least 5 prostitutes in 1880s London. Many consider his murders to be a Masonic ritual. His identity is still a mystery.
2. Woodcutter from New Orleans.
Between 1918 and 1919, this killer sent 12 people to the next world with an ax. The killer (or his imitator) sent letters to the newspapers, where he talked about the upcoming murders. The lumberjack killed mostly women.
3. Ripper from Atlanta.
Killer believed to be male involved in the murder of 15-21 black women in Atlanta in 1911. The homicide most often took place near the victim's home. Six suspects were questioned in the case, but no one was convicted.
4. Cleveland butcher.
In the 1930s, organs and body parts, as well as decapitated corpses, began to be found around Cleveland. In total, the maniac has 12-20 victims.

9. Mary Delphine LaLaurie.
In 1834, a fire broke out in the mansion of Madame Lalaurie. The mistress fled, leaving slaves in the house. When the neighbors ran to the screams coming from the attic, they saw the tortured and mutilated slaves, some of whom were still alive. In her mansion, slaves were in the service, who later, at the will of the mistress, became the subject of mortal torture and experiments.
10. Phantom.
This serial killer shot five people in 1946, including teenagers and one elderly couple. Witnesses claim that the bag on the head with slits for the eyes.
