Yuri Abramochkin, the legend of the Russian photo reportage, has died

He started his career as a photographer at the age of 21, when he was offered the position of official correspondent of the World Festival of Youth and Students. Throughout his career, he participated in many international exhibitions and festivals, was awarded the Golden Eye Award from the World Press Photo contest and included in the list of contemporary photographers from St. James Press.
The heroes of his works were both heads of state and great cultural figures, as well as ordinary people. He took pictures throughout his life, and the lens caught not only moments from people's lives, but also significant events in the history of the country.
