That's how he looked when he was alive.
Laura and Richard's dog named Dylan died on June 30, 2015. They wanted to preserve his memory.
Inspired by another family from the UK who cloned their dog during her lifetime, Laura and Richard contacted Sooam Biotech, where they were told they could freeze some of Dylan's cells to clone him later.
Laura and Richard collected DNA samples themselves and sent them to the Sooam Biotech laboratory in South Korea.
The DNA samples arrived at the laboratory later than the preferred time, so there were some problems with the cells, which is why Richard and Laura did not have full confidence that Dylan could be cloned.
However, after a few weeks, the cells began to grow!
On the 31st day after receiving DNA samples, Sooam Biotech was able to confirm two pregnancies!
Laura and Richard went to South Korea to be there during the birth of the puppies.
The puppies look exactly like Dylan!
Would you clone your pet?
