2. A dog named Yoda (Yoda) got its name from one of the main characters in "Star Wars" because of the noticeable similarity, I guess. This Scholoitzcuintle or Mexican Hairless Dog is one of the most ancient breeds in the world. (Photo: Stephen Lam / REUTERS).
3. And this dog is a cross between a Dutch shepherd dog. He has pronounced spinal problems. Apparently, therefore, he received the nickname Quasimodo on behalf of the humpbacked bell ringer - the protagonist of Victor Hugo's novel Notre Dame Cathedral. (Photo: Stephen Lam / REUTERS).
4. A small decorative dog - a pug named Grovie. This is an ancient Chinese breed of dog that has long been popular with the nobility. (Photo: Stephen Lam / REUTERS).
5. A very adorable dog named Addie. I don’t know to whom he might seem ugly, he’s just handsome. (Photo: Stephen Lam / REUTERS).
6. A dog named Prince Austin is a cross between a pug and a Pomeranian. (Photo: Stephen Lam / REUTERS).
7. A Chinese Crested Dog named Icky. This is a very ancient breed of dog that was almost lost - in 1966 only a few individuals remained. They were brought to the UK and there they were able to renew the population of these amazing animals, which are very attached to their owners, and this one also looks like its own. 8. This is a Belgian griffon named Monkey. Lover to show off on the red carpet. (Photo: Stephen Lam / REUTERS).
9. And finally the winner. "The ugliest dog of 2014" is a mongrel named Peanut. When he was still a very small puppy, evil people set him on fire. Fortunately, the poor man was rescued and he fell into good hands. Peanut's owner, Holly Chandler, is very proud of him. (Photo: Stephen Lam / REUTERS).
