The food pictured has never tasted so good!

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/the-food-pictured-has-never-tasted-so-good.htmlVanessa Rees is a Brooklyn-based freelance photographer who loves tea, gin, her ginger cat, travel and of course photography, creating amazingly beautiful food still lifes. In addition to being a great photographer, Vanessa also cooks and then publishes the recipes on her website.
However, the phrase "ordinary photo" when describing Vanessa's work is clearly inappropriate. According to the author, she uses six to eight additional lights, while the average photographer has only two. Therefore, her photographs are so rich, bright and vibrant.
Vanessa successfully works with chefs, restaurants and gastronomic magazines. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her work. Among them is the Best Food Photography award from Saveur Magazine (France's leading gourmet magazine for fine dining). Brands she has done ads or other material for include Ralph Lauren, Food & Wine Magazine, VegNews Magazine, and many more.
