By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/the-craftswoman-creates-dolls-with-magical-realism.htmlThere are dolls very similar to living people. And there are so realistic that their appearance can only be explained by magic. Such dolls are created by an artist from Ukraine named Anastasia. The talented craftswoman offers her incredible works to serious collectors, because these are not toys at all, but serious and very expensive works of art.
Fortunately, Anastasia does not hide her beauty from people and generously shares pictures of her fantastic works on her Instagram. Each doll is unique and has a unique appearance and character. These beauties have a little secret — their elegant arms and legs are connected by joints-hinges and can take different positions.
This design feature makes Nastya's work especially valuable. The owner of such a doll can give her any pose similar to a human one.
The artist makes her masterpieces from porcelain, polyurethane, polymer clay, glass and special types of plastics. Some parts are printed on a 3D printer, and then undergo filigree manual processing.
The author spares no time and effort to work out the maximum detail. It is the exact resemblance to real girls that makes these dolls valuable to collectors.
But in order for a miniature figure to truly come to life, it is not enough to make it. Real outfits are sewn for dolls and tiny accessories are created. Anastasia spends a lot of time photographing her offspring in specially created interiors.
Photo shoots for little ladies require more attention than working with people. When you have to deal with small objects, you need to work out the composition, light and shadows as accurately as possible. Only in this case the doll in the toy room will look like a real girl.
