The Belgian paid a fine of 3,000 euros for "sexism in a public place"

For the first time, a Belgian court has accused a man of "sexism in a public place" for insulting a policewoman. The incident occurred on June 6, 2016. A 23-year-old man crossed the road at a red traffic light. When the police stopped the guy, he insulted a woman on duty.

During the arrest, the man claimed that he was a victim of discrimination because of his dark skin color. The accused did not appear in court and can still appeal the verdict.
