Talented Belarusian artist Leonid Afremov not cease to amaze users of social networking for his work. His paintings are always emotional, they cause only positive and joyful emotions, despite the fact that the artist portrays autumn. Afremov draws not tassels. He uses a palette knife (special knife blade), through which oil paints masterfully puts the desired strokes.
Many compare Afremov from great masters of the past. But the artist insists that he found his own style. His work can be seen as contemporary art, which is based on the traditions of the past.
The artist himself says: "the Human mind is unique. We tend to cling to the past and to be supercritical relative to the present. We compare new creations with classic masterpieces and seek the slightest flaws. Maybe the grass was greener a few centuries ago, but talented people are born today."
Leonid Afremov prefer to put their work in the social network and not to make personal exhibitions in the galleries. His artistic philosophy rests on the idea that art should not be only available to the elite.
