Named 10 best cities to live

Categories: World

Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) experts presented the Global Liveability Ranking 2015, in which they assessed which city in the world has the best living conditions.

When compiling the ranking, they used 30 quantitative and qualitative indicators in five categories: stability, health, culture / environment, education and infrastructure. As a result, for each of these criteria, analysts gave a score from 1 (“unbearable”) to 100 (“perfect”) for each of the 140 cities participating in the rating.

In general, the top ten cities did not come as a surprise compared to last year's ranking.

Since this ranking does not use such a criterion as the cost of living, Global Finance analysts also took the results of other studies - Mercer Quality of Living Survey 2015 and Monocle's Quality of Life Survey 2015. They used data from all three rankings and compiled their own ranking of the top ten for city life.
