The body of 24-year-old Flavia Godinho Mafra was discovered by her husband in the state of Santa Catarina. Their unborn child has disappeared.
A mad woman tricked the expectant mother into a secret place. She said that friends organized a party for her in honor of the future baby. Then she hit the pregnant woman on the head with a brick and cut the baby out of the womb.
The baby is still in the hospital, but everything is fine with her. The results of the examination are expected to show when the child was taken out of the mother's womb — before or after her death.
The gruesome murder of Elizabeth Short, which occurred in 1947, remains unsolved to this day. A young woman was cut in half and left in a field.
