Morgan Davidson's drawings are striking in their brightness and juiciness. The young artist draws inspiration from nature itself, thanks to which she manages to create wonderful realistic works that amaze with their splendor. According to Morgan, she was very fond of nature since childhood and always had pets in her house. This is the reason for the choice of themes of the artist's work.

Morgan was born in Florida, where she spent her childhood years. She learned the basics of painting at Ringling College. In his work, in addition to the traditional technique of drawing, Morgan often uses elements of fashion illustration. Looking at her work, you are amazed at the saturation of the scale, thanks to which the image takes on volumes and seems to come to life.

The artist pays great attention to detail, especially for female portraits. She often uses natural elements, which helps her to emphasize the naturalness of images in her works. As such elements, Morgan uses yellowed leaves, flower buds, vintage watches, candle ends, and other things.

The artist considers herself a perfectionist and claims that she works scrupulously on each of her works. The main dream of the artist is freelance work, which would allow her to cooperate with both companies and individual customers.

The artist perfectly turns out both portraits of people, and images of a variety of birds and animals. Morgan Davidson draws in both traditional and fashion illustration techniques. She carefully works out all the details of the drawing, not missing a single small detail, reflections or shadows. Due to such scrupulousness, the drawings are so realistic, rich and voluminous.

In one of the articles, of which there are a lot on the Internet about the artist, it is written :

But this is guile! Here's what one artist wrote on it:

"As an artist (or rather a former artist), I can give the highest praise to the technical skills and talent of Morgan Davidson.

You can also add that the pencils that she uses are not quite "ordinary". She uses at least the best brand of the pencil company "Prismacolor" or "Koh-I-Noor", and these are two of the best (and quite expensive) professional brands and a set of pencils" Prismacolor " costs about 10 times more than a similar set of really ordinary school colored pencils.

The fact that you can create PRISMACOLOR in any case will not work when using, say, Crayola or PeachTree pencils.

Many are not familiar with such details. Pencils all look the same externally. Prismacolor pencils and markers have been on my desktop for decades and are used every day. I tried tons of different pencils and found nothing similar in terms of quality and properties – color saturation, the ability to blend gently, change the saturation of the tone and the thickness of the line depending on the force of pressure, etc.

Once, in my youth, I studied at a children's art school, I was already in the 4th year of study, and suddenly a friend of our family, a famous artist at that time, gave me a large set of Dutch brushes and a set of Dutch art gouache. At that time, at school, we mostly used Russian poster gouache in painting lessons.

Almost overnight, my work became the best in the class. I easily began to convey both color and light, and the depth of the plans and many other aspects of painting greatly "jumped". This was my first lesson on the great dependence of the quality of work on the quality of the tool.

Similarly, for many uninitiated people, it is completely incomprehensible why for high-quality work with watercolors you need to pay 10 times more for honey watercolors and never use school over-dried watercolors in small baths. And why watercolors should only be made on special paper, preferably TORCHON paper, and never on simple and cheap sketch paper.

For the layman, paper is paper, paint is just paint and pencils are all "on the same face".

Of course, all the best tools show themselves with brilliance only in the hands of a skilled craftsman. Quality materials are also very important if you or your child have just decided to start learning how to draw, paint, or other types of art.

Poor-quality or incorrectly selected tools and materials can very quickly and permanently kill the desire to learn further.
