Countries of the world to taste

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/countries-of-the-world-to-taste.htmlThe creation of these maps from food by Caitlin Levin and Henry Hargreaves was inspired by a passionate desire to travel. Exploring new countries with the help of typical food for them opens a kind of portal to the heart of the culture of each locality.
In this series, the authors took classic products from different countries and continents and turned them into maps. Although we know that the birthplace of tomatoes was the South American Andes, but still Italy became the tomato king among the countries, isn't it? The maps show how different products have traveled around the world, changing and becoming part of the culture of each place. Who goes to France and doesn't try French cheese there? Who drinks Brazilian caipirinha without a handful of limes? Who doesn't know about Chinese noodles?
These cards are an attempt to jokingly depict our ideas about the food of the whole world.
