On Monday, bird lover Jason Ward tweeted this photo, taken by amateur photographer Martin Lemay, of a small weasel-like animal riding a bird (which looks like a green woodpecker) and the bird is not very pleased.

In fact, this story is not about transport - weasel tried to eat a woodpecker.

Martin LeMay recounts what he and his wife saw while walking in East London: “A bird flew in front of us, and we suddenly realized that a small mammal was sitting on its back and that this was a life-and-death struggle.” Eventually the bird landed and they fought on the ground. Weasel was a little distracted by Martin and his wife, and the woodpecker disappeared.
