Stunning shots of wild nature, made by an amateur photographer during his lunch breaks, captivated thousands of fans.

Dave Newman regularly carries short trips from his office in downtown Clifford, Lincolnshire, to the local river to catch his beast and bird in the lens.

That which began as an alternative to lunch turned into a hobby, received praise from fans around the world.

Newman said he was "stunned" by the attention and called on other beginner snippers to "just come out and shoot."

His obsession with photography began when he discovered that during breaks he wanted to do something bigger than just walking around the city.

"So in two minutes I'll go down to the car on the river," he said.

One of his favorite photographic places in the city with a population of about 18,000 people - Cogglsford Mill on the "crystal clear" river Sli.

"For days I was right next to the entertainment center when I photographed a duck-mandarin, and around there were a lot of people," he said.
