Severe complications during childbirth left the boy with cerebral palsy for life. Doctors and her husband persuaded the stunned mother to give the child away. Everyone believed that the life of a person with such a diagnosis would be difficult and unhappy.
However, Zou did not listen to the doctors, divorced her husband and the father of her child and swore to herself that she would do everything for her son, support and love him, since he has no one else.

The woman worked at three jobs at the same time to feed and cure her son, developed the boy's thinking and intelligence.
She even taught him how to use chopsticks, even though his hands could barely hold them.
"I didn't want him to ever feel embarrassed and afraid because of his problems."
It's been 29 years, and her son Ding Ding has earned a degree in environmental sciences from Peking University and recently became a law student at Harvard. I bet Mom is proud of her son.
