He just complains about everything that does not suit him, and receives compensation for it. Complaints bring him thousands of dollars.
Source: The Sun Chris Owen, 39, from Buckinghamshire earns about $1,300 a year complaining about everything from poor service to food.
It started three years ago with a complaint about the delivery of a marble table for almost $900. Three times it was delivered with damage, and the fourth time the countertop was missing altogether.
In response to the complaint, Chris received compensation for the inconvenience in the amount of $ 270 — almost a third of the price of the table.
Now Chris gets about $1,300 a year. The amount of his "earnings" varies depending on how much time he devotes to the complaint and how generous the company turns out to be. For example, in 2015, Chris received about $860 in compensation, free treats and vouchers. The following year, the income doubled.
Chris's main income comes from poor nutrition and maintenance. For example, very often it turns out to "earn" on mayonnaise.
One day, a popular pizza chain invited Chris and three of his friends to a free dinner after they had to wait an hour and a half for a pitcher of water to be brought to them during their first visit to the restaurant.
Chris also receives about $50 a year complaining about hygiene in coffee shops. And one day, workers damaged a junction box in Chris' kitchen, which had been installed a few weeks earlier. $100 for installing the box was quickly reimbursed. But Owen went further, wrote a complaint to the company, and he was quickly paid another $650.
Chris says that you need to stand your ground and say if you don't like something.
