They are able to see the future and predict world events. We are not talking now about fortune-tellers and astrologers. We are talking about one of the most popular animated series of all time - The Simpsons. The Simpsons are the longest-running American animated series. The first episode was released on December 17, 1989. The series tells about the life of the Simpson family and is mostly humorous. Nevertheless, some jokes and episodes of the series have become true.

1. Smartwatch (episode Lisa's Wedding, March 19, 1995).

When this episode aired, not everyone had computers at home, and mobile phones were the size of a shoebox. However, Lisa's lover Hugh Parkfield wore a smartwatch with which he could call his family. You can watch The Simpsons online to see how similar this device is to the current Apple Watch. But this is not the only prediction. We continue the list.

2. Letter from the Beatles (Force of Art, April 11, 1991).

In the episode, Beatles drummer Ringo Starr responds to letters from fans who wrote him decades ago. In 2013, two fans of the Liverpool Four received a response from Paul McCartney to their taped message. The message was written down and sent 50 years ago.

3. Broken Voting Machine (Little Treehouse of Horrors 19, November 2, 2008).

In the episode, Homer tries to vote for Obama, but the machine counts the vote in favor of the opponent. In 2012, during the election, several people who voted through automatic machines for Obama said that the machine gave their vote to Mitt Romney.

4. Donald Trump is the president. (Bart in the future, March 19, 2000).

After the victory of Donald Trump in the elections, this picture circled the Internet. In the episode, Trump's victory was indeed predicted, but in the episode, Lisa was the president, but Donald Trump was her predecessor.

5. 911 (New York v. Homer Simpson).
