But if you used to spend a lot of time and effort to clean one, at most two things in the house, then it's time to reconsider your approach to cleaning! These tips will help you wash, clean, and shine a lot of kitchen and bathroom accessories... without much time and effort! Don't thank me…
1. Grater
Still using the sponge to remove the cheese from the grater? In vain! Just rub the potatoes on a dirty grater. The oxalic acid contained in it will quickly rid the grater of any remaining cheese!
2. Shower head
Looking for the best way to make your shower head perfectly clean? Wrap it in a bag of white vinegar and leave it for an hour. After that, just wipe it with a damp cloth, and it will shine like new!
3. Coffee maker
Simply pour a mixture of half water and half white vinegar into the pot and set it to" boil " without the coffee grounds. Then let it stand for about an hour and complete the coffee brewing cycle. Pour out the contents and boil the drinking water once or twice until you get rid of the vinegar smell.
4. Blender
You don't have to take the blender apart to wash it. There is a much easier way! Just pour hot water into the blender and add a little dish detergent. Then rinse it, run it once, and rinse it again. The blender is much cleaner now, isn't it?
5. Toaster
To clean the toaster from the outside, it is enough to have a sponge, some tartar (potassium hydrothartrate) and water on hand. Rub the toaster and look in it as in a mirror!
6. Paintings
Just gently rub the picture with a piece of white bread to wipe off the dust once and for all.
7. Cutting board
As you probably already know, there isn't enough soap to clean a cutting board properly. The best solution is to rub the board with half a lemon and table salt. After that, you can wash the board with soap and water.
8. Mattress
Step one: vacuuming. Step two: sprinkle the mattress with baking soda. Step three: vacuum again in a few hours!
9. Toothbrushes
What? Did you know that you can clean your toothbrush? Just put it in a glass of white vinegar for a few hours, then rinse it, and it's done! But don't forget to change your toothbrushes every three months!
10. Microwave oven
Put a glass of water and vinegar in the microwave and turn it on at full power for 2 minutes. That's it!
11. Toys
Everything is very simple — so much so that many people do not even think about it. Just put all the plastic toys in the dishwasher instead of washing them individually by hand. Just make sure that they are large enough not to fall out, and can't melt at high temperatures.
12. Oven
No more crazy oven scrubs! Instead, we offer a simple five-step approach:
1. Make a paste of water and baking soda. 2. Spread it inside the oven and leave it overnight. 3. Use a wet sponge to wipe off the soda. 4. Spray a little white vinegar and remove it after a couple of minutes. 5. Turn the oven on low power for 20 minutes to allow it to dry.
