A long-term union that has survived many storms of life can crack because of one single remark.

This simple phrase irritates literally everyone, regardless of age and gender. It especially affects men, as it hits their pride. A woman, saying it, seems to emphasize her superiority and shows that she turned out to be smarter or more competent in some matter. This causes irritation. It also happens that a man himself has realized his mistake and is very worried about it. In such a situation, it is better not to point a finger at someone else's mistake, but simply remain silent or support your partner with a kind word.

If you constantly repeat this phrase, you are guaranteed to alienate a man. It clearly points to his inadequacy, and this quickly bears fruit. Psychologists know that the more often a person hears this reproach, the less desire he has to take the initiative in any matter. In fact, why do anything when a woman considers her partner worthless and has given up on him?

Every man strives to seem the smartest and most resourceful to his chosen one. Therefore, it is extremely unpleasant for him when his intellectual abilities are questioned. Perhaps the woman does not put any hidden meaning into her words, but the partner may perceive them as an insult. Instead, it is better to say: “I see the situation differently” or “I have a different opinion on this matter.” This approach will help to avoid conflict and maintain harmony in the conversation.

Therefore, it is better to remove it from circulation altogether for the sake of peace of both partners. Is it worth building a dialogue on accusations and provoking conflicts? It is unlikely that such an approach will lead to harmony.

Another absolutely unconstructive phrase, after which any man automatically takes a defensive position. Of course, because he knows perfectly well that what follows will be a list of his sins and shortcomings. In general, it is better not to start a conversation with the pronoun "you". It sounds much more delicate to say "I was unpleasantly surprised" or "I was offended."

By saying these words, you are taking away your man's uniqueness. Who likes someone denying their individuality and putting them in the same category as many others? Maybe a man won't argue with this. But there is a good chance that if he hears this all the time, he will try to impress some other woman.

Yes, a man can't always come to your aid in a timely manner. But this doesn't mean that he's ignoring you or simply doesn't want to do anything. Maybe he's distracted by something or he's solving more important problems. It's so easy to hurt self-esteem with such a reproach and completely discourage any desire to help.

When they say "I see" or "I see", they usually mean that nothing is clear, but there is no point in discussing the issue further. Indifference is hidden behind these words. This is the easiest way to leave an unpleasant feeling in the interlocutor. A man can start feeling guilty, without even understanding what exactly he did wrong. A short, but very dangerous manipulation.
