A startlingly beautiful earth snail crawled up the back of a crested crocodile and looked right into its toothy mouth. The unusual scene was captured by Andri Priyadi, a graphic designer from Jakarta, Indonesia.

The young crocodile-only about 30 centimeters in size-did not seem to be disturbed at all by the curious mollusk. The snail examined the reptile for about 10 minutes.

After reaching the jaw, the snail examined the crocodile's teeth, and then returned back the way it had come.
